I've also been to the Canary Islands, I mainly travel to Europe now, worst place I went was the USA, most scenic place Bahrain and place I love the most Sicily.

  The only Middle East country I've been to is Kuwait and it's the most unscenic and dull place I've ever been to! But the sunrises and sunsets were incredible. Hubster went ot Munich a couple of weeks ago and loved it.

  Excellent. They're all crazy and really do have boiling hot saunas then jump in freezing lakes.

    What's the food like? I can remember some French politician saying it's the only place with worse food than the UK. Mind you, I have had one or two bad food experiences in France!

      I can't really remember anything spectacular about the food to be honest, didn't go away with any national dishes in my head.

  Finland is barking mad. Bloody brilliant place, if a bit dark in the winter months. Mrs. Magnox (Gilraen) went there in the Summer and it's a completely different experience by all accounts, but the body count of completely wasted Finns in the gutter of an evening is about the same

Tried this myself and scored 4% - America, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Tunisia. Had to go back and do it a 2nd time cos I forgot the UK!

18% for moi. If I tap in the countries I've flown over, it adds up to 55%. Most of that 37% difference is complete and utter ****-holes of places (a) you would never want to visit and (b) make you realise how lucky you were to be born in a wealthy country.

(I kinda cheated and ticked Jamaica because we've been to St. Lucia !)
