Evening All,

About time for a proper update post. Spirits have been lifted after word from Hubster at Brize Norton. I'll be posting a quick pic of him later on the recipe blog. And just had a bath. Veeeery relaxing. Going to slip into what I romatically call my 'smock' now, a Christmas present from Orangeblossom year before last. It goes down to the ankles, long sleeves, fleecy material, pocket in the front, you get the picture. Very comfy.

So starting to feel guilty now. A colleague (who's working from home) tried to pull a fast one and get the last week in March off as he had holiday left. At the end of the financial year! I was fuming! So I winged a bit and uber-boss got him to cancel it. I think he thinks that nice boss is a soft touch which is why he didn't ask me. I'm harsh, but fair. Now I feel a little guilty - he has a 1 year old, probably could do with a break, his woman is probably on his back, but then the little devil on my other shoulder says - hell! I'd like a week off too, pal, but I've got to get all this work done by the end of March as well. I will probably get the icy silence when he's next in, no doubt. Meh.

Went to gym again. The stepper's hard. Gym is a bit small, though, not enough treadmills. I forgot my Zen, which meant I was forced to watch 'Celebrity Dancing On Ice' with the sound down (there are TVs in front of all the machines). It was either that, horseracing or Jamie Oliver making some calorific banquet. Not good gym viewing. So celebrities falling on ice it was.

Went for a bridesmaid's fitting the other day - here is the dress in case you're wondering (that's not me (I wish) that's the model). But it's in lettuce green. Well, it fits, zips all the way up to top. The underwear's going to have a serious affect on my internal organs by then end of the night, though. Phew! How did they manage in the olden days with all those gussets and corsets I'll never know.

Managed to catch Primeval the other night as well, and I thought it was quite good. That means I didn't turn it over in the commercial breaks. The  lead girl is a bit Gillian Anderson though isn't she (below)? I like her hair colour too, think I'll get me one of those. I may have a gander at that in the future. Looked a bit better than Torchwood - liked the Scots guy's one liners.

Well, off now. Time for tea.

Speak to you later, Gil. x
