Not now - yesterday evening. The weather is finally starting to get better! But this could mean more rabbits. Here is their nemesis, Polo. Butter wouldn't melt, eh?
I have a whole hen night post and a wedding post to come this week, I promise, and a few more movie reviews. And I dare say there might be mention of Doctor Who as well.

Pro He's an excellent hunter (altough we never see him 'at the catch' as-it-were. He is a far better butcher (without getting squeamish). His year as a stray not long out of kittenhood will never leave him and he eats everything of whatever he catches if you get my meaning. I mean everything. He will never go hungry. And now he's got a warm place to sleep and lots of love. He's a happy cat. 
Polo looks like he makes a mean mouse curry.

Pro He's a bit on the chubby side, but that's part of his charm. He is a fine mog.

A good hunter ?? This cat is single-handedly responsible for the destruction of all wild-life 1 foot or less in length in the local area. He'd eat your small dog if he thought he could get away with it ! And and... we've seen him eyeing up the lambs in the field across the road... "I'll blend in, a quick 'Beow, Beow' and before they know it.. it's lamb with tarragon for dinner."
He's semi-feral still; cuddles up on the bed with you and then pops down to the local rabbit warren for breakfast. Sometimes he saves half a rabbit somewhere inappropriate in the house. First time Gil found half a rabbit, the shrieks could be heard in London. Now it's a case of.. ah well, another rabbit-end.... Whatever he catches, he eats.
Our other cat occasionally brings in something, as cats are wont to do, and Polo just sees this in the same way we see Pizza delivery. Food without the effort
He had a rubbish life before we got him, and we'll not change him now. He looks sweet - but hunts down and destroys more tonnage than a U-Boat commander...
And how he does it is an utter mystery - he's not exactly the world's most camouflaged cat...
Pip the cat blends into shadows and shrubberies, a feline Ninja. Come September-time, daddy-long-legs beware. Because, despite his natural war-paint, the best Pip can do is pounce on an unsuspecting insect and eat it.
Polo, who may as well walk up to the rabbits with a banner saying "I'm coming to eat you", whilst simultaneously fixing cymbals to his legs and playing Knees Up Mother Brown on a mouth accordian always gets his meal. And it's not like we don't feed him either...
